'Chaplin: The Musical' retells the life story of the legendary film comedian Charles Spencer Chaplin. The performance is set in an old film studio where Chaplin muses about his life, his work and his most important creation, The Tramp, which proved to be both a blessing and a curse for the much-admired star. We follow Charlie from his impoverished childhood in London right through to the climax of his career, 

when he was known as the most famous film maker in the world.

The story of his life is complex and intriguing, full of dramatic moments. In a spectacular and moving way, the musical portrays both the extraordinary talent and the true humanity of one of the greatest geniuses of the twentieth century.

A unique show in Belgian musical history

With its production of 'Chaplin, the Musical', Music Hall created something unique in Belgian musical history. For the very first time, a Belgian musical producer has been granted exclusive rights to produce and promote a Broadway production on the international stage. The prestigious show retelling the fascinating life of this legendary film icon will be given a new life by Music Hall, working in close collaboration with the original creators.

This completely re-imagined production tells the story of the man behind the legend that is Charles Spencer Chaplin. Opening at Theatro Net, Sao Paulo in May 2015 to a completely sold out season, this production boasts a revised book, new music and a beautiful new scenic design that takes us on the journey of Chaplin’s complex and intriguing life. We follow him from his improvised and desperate childhood in London to the very pinnacle of his career as the most famous movie maker in the world.
